Odeon Cinemas Group’s latest Scream Unseen screening proved that audiences who genuinely want to watch films still exist. Unfortunately, Obsession itself never rewards that attention, dragging an intriguing premise through a hollow plot, uneven pacing and bursts of gore that cannot compensate for the lack of substance underneath.
